ARW Information: Tutorials, Lessons Remaining, & Essay #2

Dear BB & BL,

Tutorials
As I mentioned in classes today, there are enough times available for everyone to have a tutorial on Essay #2.

At the end of semester everyone is extremely busy. There is sufficient time, which means that no one should miss out. Your assistance in using our time well is very important.

Please plan ahead, arrive a little early, and as discussion leader bring good questions and all your drafts (SGW 6-7).

Lessons remaining
BB please note there is no class on Friday (ICU Festival).

BB & BL please note that there is no class on Monday (Holiday).

Essay #2
I am sorry if I have sent the message that students have to finish early.

It was my view that some students might feel that they could write their best paper in a shorter time, before festival and before end of term assignments for other courses. Basically, to finish ARW before everyone gets really, really busy.

My hope is that each student will still make their own decision about when to submit their Final Paper, with November 7 the final day to turn it in, which is 12 days away.

Rushing.

Thank you,

Owen.

ARW Information: Weekend reading

Dear ARWers,

I would like to let you know so the news does not take you by surprise tomorrow, that the next ELP Reader text on Race will  be set as reading homework for the weekend.

Have a good Thursday, see you tomorrow.

Owen.

ARW Request: Starting on time

Dear Discussion Leaders,

Please arrive to class 5 minutes early on the day of your session. It is important to start on time for lots of reasons. Even if some class members have not yet arrived, start on time. You should not wait until everyone has arrived or wait for me to tell you that you can start. Just start.

Arigachi,

Owen.
